About Me
For as long as I can remember, I have enjoyed learning about technology and been curious about how things work. For example, one time when I was young, I took apart my drum set to see what was inside. To my dismay, there was nothing but air. Even though I now work with Artificial Intelligence (AI), I still have that same curiosity, though I now use it to build. Eventually, this curiosity grew alongside a passion for technology.
Today, I create AI models with a focus on efficiency and ethics. Ever since I first used Siri, the voice assistant, I realized the value of having access to information instantly. Now, with AI, this idea is even more prominent. Language Models lower the barrier to researching and writing and make it faster. Text-to-Image models lower the barrier to creating art. Unfortunately, there are still issues with this current technology, specifically regarding control and training data. Therefore, as a researcher, it is my job to help make better AI, not only for humanity, but for the world as well.
